Brontis Jodorowsky

Born in Mexico in 1962, he stared in his first movie at the age of just seven. After El Topo and The Holy Mountain by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Pubertinajes by Pablo Leder, he won The "Diosa de Plata" Prize for best child actor in Mexico for El muro del silencio by Luis Alcoriza in 1974.He has been living in France since 1979, he was studied under Riszard Ciezlak (the iconic actor of Theater Laboratory of Wroclaw) and Ariane Mnouchkine, and worked as an actor for the Théâtre du Soleil (performing works such as The miraculous night andPerjury City by Hélène Cixous, The Atrides, Euripides and Aeschylus and Le Tartuffe, by Molière) and as well as attending intensive courses led by Jean-Paul Denizon, Yoshi Oida and Declan Donnellan.
He worked with Ricardo Lopez-Muñoz (Anthropology by Pablo Abad, Peter and the Wolf by Prokofiev, Cabaret Prévert by Prévert) Järgi Pataki (Good God of Manhattan byIngeborg Bachman), Paul Golub (Macbeth and the dream of a summer night by Shakespeare, The Illusion comique by Corneille, A Century of Industry by Marc Dugowson, Nights in Baghdad by Mohamed Kacimi, La puce à l'oreille by Feydeau),Antonio Arena ( the tyrannical Giacomo by Giuseppe Manfredi) Simon Abkarian (Thefinal song of Troy, according to Seneca, Sentences of love lost and Titus Andronicus byShakespeare), Alejandro Jodorowsky (Opera panic, Il sogno senza fine, / El sueño sin end, The gorilla), Irina Brook (Dancing at Lughnasa, by Brian Friel, Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare), Jacques Osinski (Richard II, Shakespeare), Bernard Sobel (A man is a man of Brecht and Troilo and Cressida Shakespeare), Jorge Lavelli (Merlin or the devastated land by Tankred Dorst), Monica Espina (Tragedy: a tragedia, by Will Eno),Lukas Hemleb (The O maquise. He has staged Supervision by Jean Genet, Qu'est-ce que ça peut faire? by Christian Ferrari, Le Médecin volant by Molière, the unexpected, Fabrice Melquiot and is currently preparing for the Théâtre Musical de Besançon - Pelléas et Mélisande by Debussy (for Summer 2009).
