Psychological
Art Circus

Psychological Art Circus has, since 2004, been operating professionally
cross-platform in London, Paris, Zagreb and Bogotá. PAC has happened
in woodyard and church, theatres and bandstands; academy, galleries
and gymnasium; within exhibitions, festivals and, in 2006, the 4th Latin
Convention of Circus to complete a first South American commission successfully
playing to audiences of over 2000.

Olive explores the physical and visual mysteries of light, sound,
death, after-death and rebirth through aerial acts and contemporary
visual theatre practices. Based on the writings of Olive Pixley, the
show invites spectators to journey into the Egyptian and Hermetic mysteries,
the knowledge of magical and spiritual forces and the revelation of
the technique of light.

Kika

Performing - 'Arkidol'

Butoh (?? but?) is the collective name for a diverse
range of techniques and motivations for dance inspired by the Ankoku-Butoh
movement. It typically involves playful and grotesque imagery performed
in white-body makeup but there is no set style. Its origins have been
attributed to Tatsumi Hijikata and Kazuo Ohno. Butoh is an enigma,
an ever-evolving mystery. Violent or peaceful, slow or manic, painfully
intimate or grandly spectacular, freely improvised or choreographed
in stylized gestures, Butoh seems to fly away from itself, resisting
definition or explanation, yet profoundly transforming those who encounter
it.

Performing - Shibari (???)

The word Shibari came in to common use in the west at some point in
the 1990s to describe the bondage art Kinbaku (??
?)
which is the word for "bondage" or Kinbaku-bi which means
"beautiful bondage". Kinbaku (also Sokubaku) is a Japanese
style of sexual bondage or BDSM which involves tying up using simple
yet visually intricate patterns, usually with several pieces of thin
rope (generally 6mm or 8mm).
