An immersive celebration of the cult beat writer William S Burroughs’s 100th birthday. The event, which will take place in a secret location, will be part promenade theatre, part performance art and will feature a Burroughs-inspired, sprawling 360-degree city. Expect a marketplace based on his 'Interzone' stories, magical and alien creatures, crews of Wild Boys, decadent artists, gun-runners, government agents, criminals, drug smugglers and tax-evading tycoons. The suggested dress code is 'indecent citizen' – think deviants, corrupt officials, beatniks, cannibals, Egyptian gods, drag kings and time travellers. Passports (tickets) must be booked in advance. Full travel details will be emailed to ticket holders shortly before the event.
