What is it ?
The MTT is a performance and a hybrid of theatre, self development, political meeting, comedy, magic sabbath, all combined in an esoteric conference. Why ? Paris based Christophe Richart Carrozza has spent over 18 years studying the Tarot de Marseille and 8 years working as Alejandro Jodorowsky’s assistant. After organising dozens of Cabaret Mystique conferences, Carrozza decided to combine his knowledge of Tarot, his passion for theatre and the possibility to sow some seeds of consciousness in our society. Today’s society reproduces a myriad of abuses on us, these can be ; mental, emotional, creative and material based. We often reproduce these abuses unconsciously but by opening the conscious side of them we can choose a different path. The Panic Movement had a motto that 'theatre had to get out of the theatres.' Now the audience has the opportunity to participate, to get out of the position of 'the consumer' and beome conscious of their possibilities to interact with their own lives and in the show of life! Who ? Carrozza's eyes were opened at a Jodorowsky conference 21 years ago. As a dedicated student, fan and user of the psychomagic technique and of metagenealogy - The MTT is a combination of subconscious revealing techniques. MTT proposes to voluntary members of the audience to come and ask a question to the Tarot in public. Depending on the answer of the Tarot, there will be a reading and some form of actions can be acted out live and direct with or without audience participation... "We may create a form of gripping live drama, as this kind of reality show is really real!" How ? At Apiary Studio's performance space we welcome an audience ready to play and to accept an exploration of the self. Are you willing to give a little bit of yourself, are you bold enough to take a risk in front of a symbolic society (the audience) to deliver some of your lost secrets waiting inside... Carrozza offers this experience for free open to all, spaces are limited to 30 so please arrive early to ensure entry. |
