FINALLY we can announce our next event, and it is our biggest yet! We are taking over some of the arches under london bridge for a very special masquerade ball inspired by Goblins and other dark creatures beyond the realm of human vision.

We will be announcing in the coming weeks our phantastical line up of performers, bands, djs, artists, designers, guests of honour, and those taking up residence in the goblin market.

The Gorilla photo narrative book

We are very excited to announced the first product from Guerrilla Zoo’s Season of Jodorowsky to be announced.
A beautiful photo-narrative book about photographer Isabel Beirer’s experience behind the scenes at ‘The Gorilla’ with Brontis Jodorowsky, as he prepared for his London stage premiere.

Isabel followed Brontis backstage with
her camera, as he transform himself into the character of the Gorilla.
The Gorilla was written by Alejandro Jodorowsky inspired by Kafka’s cult classic ‘Report to an Academy’ and
performed by Brontis Jodorowsky at the Leicester Square theatre in November 2009.

Theatre of Manifestation Performance Workshop

FoolishPeople will be running a series of professional theatre and arts workshops in London over the next few months. This is a rare opportunity for actors, performers and artists to introduce themselves to the core techniques and concepts of FP's working practice, Theatre of Manifestation.

Theatre of Manifestation combines mythology, shamanism, drama therapy and open source collaboration to create immersive experiences that have the power to raise a numinous experience within the audience. It dismantles the notion of the spectator being a passive recipient of a theatrical experience; active engagement and participation is vital and absolutely necessary.

The first workshop takes place on Saturday the 3rd of July at St Gabriel’s Halls. Over the course of the day, you will work with John Harrigan, Artistic Director and founder of FoolishPeople to explore the core
techniques and skills needed within immersive theatre and how you can unlock and open the essence of your imagination and creativity.

This workshop will leave you feeling confident and empowered with new skills and techniques that you can apply to your own working practice within a variety of mediums and performance styles. This workshop is open to all arts professionals and semi-professionals working in the arts.

This year will see the launch of the very first Alternative Artists Awards. A new annual awards showcase for the the ever growing establishment of wonderful, wicked and weird performance and live artists.

The Altenative Artists Awards is an independantly run organisation dedicated to promoting and giving recognition to performance artists of various ability who have achieved a professional level of artistic expression

They are a new and original annual awards event to celebrates and honour the growing establishment of performance art in the UK. Nominee applications are open to all performance & live artists based in the UK.

Promising psychedelic strangeness and mystical interventions, this arty party is inspired by the films of cult film-maker Alejandro Jodorowsky, who has influenced everyone from Kasabian to Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel. The suggested dress code includes a vast variety of styles that encompasses gods of war, hermits and death, so you can be assured that this is going to be the place to have an odd time. Music comes from Agaskodo Teliverek, The Mighty Roars and Ebe Oke & The Sable Seers, while artistic performers on the bill include SybanV, Twisted Cirque, Morai Tribal Bellydance and the rather unusual bondage stylings of Esinem alongside aerial ballet and DJs.
