The Sunday Salon will open for clinking tea spoons and a hep crowd, with something satisfying to feed both mind and belly.  Along with the coffee, eggs and french toast, there will be lectures, screenings, interventions and workshops. An array of creative folks (artists, mystics, makers and revellers) sharing their passions with style and gusto every Sunday from 2pm.  All you have to buy is brunch to get involved at £3 for something basic and £10 for something fancy.   So revive your sleepy Sundays for a much heartier alternative to your Sunday Roast.

Choni The Circle Maker by Adam B Daniels

Choni The Circle Maker - A story adapted from an ancient mystical parable.  The film takes visual & thematic influence from German Expressionism, Jodorowsky & Paradjanov. My interests in mysticism, particularly sacred circles, Qabalah & numerology are weaved into the plot. The cast and crew were drawn from London's underground music & outsider art community, with a soundtrack by Daniel O'Sullivan (Sunn O))), Guapo), acting from Amir Shoat, Christos Fanaras, Mark Pilkington & others.

Adam makes films. Obsessively and compulsively.Through a time working with sound at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios on some great records and movies with many many brilliant people he learned how to mold all his interests and abilities into one. Making films. Starting by writing and directing Choni The Circle Maker led to moving into music video, fashion film, documentary and promo film production. He has two other short films in production and a feature script in development.

Shibari performance installation by
Santiago Genchio & Myleen Elliot

Myleen Elliot and Santiago Genochio collaborate on a mechanical human marionette sculptural installation, bringing together elements of Shibari (Japanese rope bondage) suspensions, intricate mechanical counterweighted rigging systems, found objects and a collection of hand made blown glass sculptures. As the performers are bound into ropes, the audience is invited to hang objects onto frames, setting off counterweighted mechanisms, pulling parts of the performers into the air and manipulating the form of their bodies. 

Myleen Elliot
From a fine art sculptural background, Myleen's objective is to explore the fluidity of blown glass to suggest something of the sexual relation - a state of mind rather than an illustration. Between seduction and threat, her creatures are suspended as if they were floating. 

Santiago Genochio
Studied a wide variety of rope and line disciplines from an early age, including traditional decorative knot work, rope-based weapon systems, crochet and Shibari, and works with industrial rigging. His performance works involves combining a variety of disciplines, often creating mechanical systems which manipulate or assist a performer's movements.
