Over 50 contributing artists are participating over 8 days coinciding with Frieze as an antidote to bland commercial art. Modern Panic will be featuring rising stars of the new wave; political agitators Maslen & Mehra; hyper-realist metalsmith Mike Turner; surrealist master Gianluca Pisano; art and science meld together by Pascale Pollier; Peter Hanmer's figurative tableaux’s of varying scales populated by animal bone protagonists; and Emma Hopkins' intimate and dynamic portraits, amongst many more talented artists from around the world gradually being announced!
Panic Ephermeral Private View opening night on Thursday 6th October will give you opportunity to meet many of the exhibiting artists and to see immersive and subversive performances throughout the evening.
Panic Sermons on Sunday 9th & Wednesday 12th October showcases a collection of riotous acts by new and ground breaking live art practitioners. Over two events, there will be a diverse selection of performances involving movement, strength, surreallism, destruction, ritual and eroticism featuring Foolish People, Syban, Dunja Kuhn, Philip Bedwell, Esther Bunting, Natalie Ramus, Julieann O'Malley, Georg Bütow, Robert Reynolds, Venus Raven.
