Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Jim Henson's cult film Labyrinth and an unmissable tribute to the late David Bowie!

The Goblin King's Masquerade Ball is a themed costume ball that explores the weird and wonderful darkside of fantasy. Join a cacophony of London's greatest underground circus, music and cabaret performers at this immersive ballroom party, infamous for having made even the mighty Dionysus blush! A night of mischief and revelry awaits you amongst the strange and beautiful creatures of the night. Let us dance the magic dance and toast the hallowed night until we render the moon a prude and set the sun ablaze!

The event will be held next Friday 29th April at Coronet London. The full line up has finally been announced, have a quick glance below and get your tickets now!

Live Music from the near-eastern sounds of The Turbans, Tim Burton inspired Parisians' La Mouche and medieval speed folk from PerKelt.

Circus & Cabaret presented by Knightmare Life host Paul Flannery, with aerial performances by Josie-Beth Davies, Betty Madimi and Hauk Pattison. Cabaret shows by firey Snake Fervor, Pearl Grey, The Man of A Thousand Farces, Bambi Blue, Arthur Foxaque & Carmen Mon Oxide. Monsterous puppetry by Twice Shy Theatre and Curious Oddities.

DJ sets from The Roustabouts, Troy Savoy [Austria], Rockit Riyad, Duncan DeMorgan & Jamie Moon.

Other curiosities include goblin life drawing by Art Macabre, Tarot reading by House of Daath Tarot, Faery Slave Traders by The Myth Heads, join the rebellion with our cast including Dread Falls Theatre, meet Goblin Shaman Honiki, giant creatures from Razor Pariah, exotic goblin ladies of the night from The Creature Shop, Magical Forest Photo Theatre by Out of Order, dancing from Shell L'Amour and Skyler, and make up artists Squiggles and Wiggles. It is with bittersweet emotion that we gather this year to celebrate the life of The Goblin King after his tragic disappearance - an untimely vanishing from the many realms. He ruled with a stealthy claw and a fool's heart, rendering us helpless to all he offered. His words touched thousands of lost souls whilst his music bewitched all. The Mortal world knew him by many names, but one stands out from them all - Bowie. We knew him as Jareth.

Lords and Ladies of Misrule, you are hereby invited by Chancellor Lerkbor & Skraybor to The Goblin King's 5th Annual Masquerade Ball.

A CACOPHONY OF MUSIC, CIRCUS AND CABARET!

This evening sees the World Turn'd Upside Down; Where Fools become Princes for one night. Where Nymphs, Bad Faeries, Goblins and other Creatures of the Night, beyond the realm of human vision, are free to dance, tempt, seduce, carry out acts of foolishness and wanton merrymaking. Dearest revellers cast aside thoughts of the next day and abandon yourselves to excesses and skullduggery, the time is upon us to witness of The Fall of The King.

ONE NIGHT OF MISCHIEF AND REVELRY

Confusion is afoot in The Goblin Realm; tensions are at breaking point between The Goblin King's Royal Army and a faction calling themselves The Tusk Rebels. Foul play is believed to be at hand, with many calling for an investigation into the Chancellor's immediate clench of control. All ye who mortals who dare, choose your comrades wisely as you step forth towards the Goblin Kingdom...

An international musical collective bringing together exciting traditional near-eastern and eastern-European styles and original compositions, creating modern energetic performance with reverence for its ancient roots!

La Mouche [France]
Electrifing Parisian nightlife and terrifying dark alleys as nocturnal insects with a festive and macabre sound. La Mouche present an a musical circus where all your senses are invited to dance in a strange world dreamed up by Tim Burton.

PerKelt
Performing their unique blend of Celtic Medieval Speed Folk. Award-winning musicians PerKelt will serenaide you with passionate and energetic, strong, melodic Celtic sounds. With over 500 shows around the world under their belt they present an innovative and evocative Celtic music in a way that has never been heard before.

Rockit Ryaid
Originally spawned from the dark and dingy depths of London’s best Rock and Heavy Metal clubs, DJ Rockit Riyad gets his name from his unrivalled ability to Rock anything and everything in his path. His boundless energy and stamina make him one of the most animated and powerful DJ’s in the goblin realm!

Snake Fervor
Multiple Guinness World Record holding circus sideshow and cabaret performer famed for jaw dropping fire manipulation, sword swallowing, snake charming, neo-burlesque and traditional freakshow acts.

The Man of A Thousand Farces
One-stop shopping for laughs, visual treats, fractured magic! Johnny Macaulay represents a new high in lowbrow! A highly experienced and hilarious street artist, actor, circus performer and clown. A talented character actor who has been performing in circus, theatre, cabaret and street festivals, internationally for over twenty years.

Bambi Blue
Like a Disney princess drawn by Walt when he was extremely high. She is the epitome of bastardised Hollywood and a wild cherry bomb on stage. A sideshow siren of fire, glitter and blood.

Master of Cermonies - Paul Flannery
Actor, comedian, musician, writer and Creator of Knightmare Live and The M.M.O.R.P.G. Show.

Betty Madimi
Original carny and circus creep. Performing on a seven pointed aerial star, with a sensual, captivating, and mesmerising homage to 'the Lady'.

Carmen Mon Oxide
Singer, host, and burlesque performer, specialising in the dark, the macabre, and the ridiculous.

Arthur Foxaque
Arthur Foxaque (pronounced fox-saike) is a paradox; a Drinking Class Hero; Dubbed “The Great Offendi” by his ever witty musicians; the linchpin & driving farce behind the band’s success, Foxaque is the front-man of The Top Shelf Band, providing lead vocals, suave, ribald banter, rhythm guitar, artistic (mis)direction & author of most of the stage material. More commonly, though, he is often found both intoxicated and unintelligible.

Pearl Grey
Award-winning Burlesque performer, Pearl mixes sex appeal with comedy to brilliant and hilarious effects! Hotter than Linda Lusardi in a boiler suit, under a sunlamp, eating a Bombay Badboy Pot Noodle.

Hauk Pattison
Multi-disciplinary performance artist performing with the impossible floating Chinese Pole. Hauk has previously worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Almeida Theatre and Scarabeus.
